Efficiency
Tube and cap produced and decorated with only 1 injection molding procedure in the same plant. Each plant on each continent is equipped with the same production equipment. This efficient process enables, consistent quality, shorter leadtime and lower cost. Also enables standardized tubes produced locally on each continent. Requires additional manufacturing steps and additional component sourcing leading to longer leadtimes and more wastage and thus to higher cost and lower sustainability. Plants tend to specialize in sizes and shape leading to some tube sizes being produced in other region.
